Lindsey Vaughn has been posing as Carol, Diana Reid’s nurse on Criminal Minds, as Reid learned when his mother visited him in the last episode, but will he be able to do anything about it?
In episode 21, “Green Light,” Reid fears his mother has been abducted, and it’s up to the BAU to investigate since he’s still stuck in prison.
“This is the Criminal Minds that will expose everything,” the “Green Light” promo promises:
Check out a sneak peek as the team begins looking for Lindsey Vaughn:
Since not everyone with the BAU now was with the team back in “3rd Life,” there’s a bit of a recap about Jack and Lindsey Vaughn. After that, Jack remained in the program because he was too important a witness. No one’s heard from either until now. Despite all the cameras in the prison, only one picked up Lindsey, meaning she knew exactly where they were and how to avoid them.
JJ and Stephen call in from Reid’s place. Diana and Cassie aren’t there, there’s no forced entry or signs of a struggle and Cassie’s car is gone. Since JJ knows Diana’s routine, they’re going to hit up those places first.
Meanwhile, the others get to work on finding Lindsey, using contacts they have. And it is possible that they’ll get a hit on degraded female DNA and prints at the crime scene if Garcia looks at WITSEC. As for telling Reid, Prentiss wants to hold off because she doesn’t want to add to his stress.
