TV tonight: On 'Criminal Minds' — look who's back – The Mercury News

TV picks for Wednesday, May 10

“Arrow” (8 p.m., The CW): Oliver returns to the mayor’s office and faces one of his most pressing issues yet – the forced release of dozens of violent criminals prosecuted by Adrian Chase. Meanwhile, a crate is delivered to Oliver’s office containing a mysterious corpse encased in concrete.

“Black-ish” (9:30 p.m., ABC): Uh oh. On the tense and harrowing season finale of the comedy series, Dre decides to throw an unforgettable baby shower for Bow. But his plans are put on hold when she visits her ob-gyn with a headache and discovers she’s having complications. Eva Longoria directed the episode.

“Criminal Minds” (9 p.m., CBS): Shemar Moore makes a very welcome return in the Season 12 finale.  Reprising his role as Derek Morgan, he brings the BAU a lead in the case against serial killer and escaped convict Mr. Scratch, who has wreaked havoc on the team all season.

“Fargo” (10 p.m., FX): We never thought we’d say this, but after last week’s trippy episode, we’re extremely excited to be leaving sunny L.A. and returning to the cold and frosty environs of the Midwest. Tonight, Emmit and Sy try to figure out what they’ve gotten themselves into, Nikki and Ray track down some collateral, and Gloria learns more about Maurice.

“Underground” (10 p.m., WGN America): Season 2 of the historical drama wraps up as Rosalee and Noah come face-to-face with Cato, who proves once again that he only follows one plan – his own. Meanwhile, strategies change when Harriet Tubman is recruited by Jim Brown’s men, and Daniel makes a desperate plea to Elizabeth and Georgia to help save his family, causing Elizabeth to make a drastic decision.

“Nobodies” (10 p.m., TV Land): With Ben and Melissa furious at them, Larry, Rachel and Hugh try to make amends by surprising them with a personal gift. Meanwhile, Hugh reconnects with an old friend: the beautiful Sam.
