According to Christian Today, “Criminal Minds” Season 12 may start filming soon based on the update from the set. Last Friday, the “Criminal Minds” cast gathered together for their first table read.

The “Criminal Minds” co-executive producer Harry Bring shared some photos of their gathering. However, what stirred “Criminal Minds” fans is one photo that featured a former cast, who made a huge exit in “Criminal Minds” Season 11.

One photo featured Joe Mantegna, Matthew Grey and Shemar Moore, a.k.a agent Derek Morgan in the “Criminal Minds” series. Moore’s exit in the show broke the hearts of many fans who are rooting for him to stay on the show. It also triggered the rumors that “Criminal Minds” will be canceled and won’t make it for season 12 due to low ratings and Moore’s departure.

Shemar Moore On ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 12

Parent Herald previously reported that Shemar Moore is returning in “Criminal Minds” Season 12. This report springs from Erica Messer’s statement suggesting that Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) can always count on Morgan.

“You don’t just get over losing your best friend at work. That is something that changes your day. You adapt and you move on, and life goes on. It’s not like he’s lost him from his life forever; he can always call Morgan,” Messer told TV Guide. “I don’t know how much we’ll play it actively, but I think it’s one more layer that all of them can tap into as we move into Season 12.”
