1. She plays the clarinet

A CBS website revealed that Vangsness isn’t just a talented actor, she’s an excellent musician. She even got a brand-new Clarinet on her birthday (July 7).
2. Kirsten used to have a lisp
The “Criminal Minds” actress went to speech therapy for three years in elementary school in order to fix it.
3. She loves cats
Garcia’s portrayer has several cats (Sergio, GusGus, Friggy and Octavigus) and she often posts pictures of them on Twitter. Vangsness is also passionate about animal rescue and is a vegetarian.

The CBS actress is an actor, musician and writer (wow!). According to IMDb, she co-wrote an episode of “Criminal Minds” in 2015 named “Nelson’s Sparrow.” Additionally, she penned a one-person play named “Mess” and performed it multiple times in 2013.
5. She is bisexual

According to People, Kirsten Vangsness was engaged to assistant editor Melanie Goldstein in 2009. She and Goldstein called it off and separated in 2013. Vangsness then went on to date writer and actor Keith Hanson. In November 2015, the couple got engaged.
Oh, and she also loves Garcia’s colorful and unique fashion!
