Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) is in a whole lot of trouble on “Criminal Minds.” After the agent was brutally beaten towards the end of episode 15, he will be kidnapped and tortured by the members of the Dirty Dozen in episode 16.

The synopsis on SpoilerTV states that the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) will scramble to find Morgan and save his life after they learn that he has been taken hostage. Although each member tries their best to get Derek back, emotions are running high in the bureau. Garcia chants “He’s going to be ok” during the duration of the above promo. Spencer Reid and J.J. look extremely worried.
It is also clear that Shemar Moore’s character hallucinates his father Hank Morgan (Danny Glover) in the episode preview.
We will also see flashbacks to Derek’s childhood and teenage hood since the episode’s description indicates that actors Tyree Brown and Amarr Wooten will play younger versions of the agent. Furthermore, we will get a glimpse into Derek’s father’s past since Byron Marc Newsome has been cast as a younger version of Hank Morgan.
Another sneak peek video shows Shemar Moore talking about the upcoming episode. Moore reveals that the Dirty Dozen hitmen have abducted his character because he’s ticked them off and they want to teach him a lesson.

Derek goes into his dream world in order to endure the trauma that he knows the hitmen will inflict on him. His father Hank enters his subconscious as a coping mechanism. Derek’s version of Hank Morgan in his head helps him conquer his fears and find mental strength while the Dirty Dozen hitmen torture him.
A second sneak peek video shows one of hitmen discovering that Derek Morgan is disassociating himself with the pain he knows they are going to inflict by switching off from his surroundings. Morgan is hooked to a device that monitors his vitals.
